Assistant to the President at Free Software Foundation Europe, Berlin.

Policy work at the European and United Nations level. Policy analysis, preparing briefings for the President. Participation in FSFE's delegation to the World Intellectual Property Organisation, liasing with government delegations and non-governmental organisations.

Independent, efficient and effective work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Support on both substance and logistics to FSFE's Freedom Task Force, including the world's largest network of legal experts on Free Software. Development and execution of PR campaigns. Blogging in English and French, public speaking, web design, translation work.

Achievements
  • Organized successfully the Legal & Licensing Workshop in Amsterdam gathering legal experts in the fields of Free Software and more generally in the area of copyright, patents and trademarks.
  • Coordination of “Document Freedom Day” a global campaign raising awareness on Open Standards, with several local activities.
  • Triggered an international debate on Web Standards for videos.
July 2008 Auchan, supermarket in La Défense (European business district near Paris): four weeks internship.
June 2005 I-Puzzle, e-marketing agency in Roubaix (north of France): two weeks internship. Web conception department (PHP/XHTML/CSS).

Voluntary Commitments

Since 2008 Responsible for the Digital Freedoms Association recognized by Sciences Po. We organize conferences and actions to raise awareness among students and unions about digital stakes, including software freedom, which we promote within the university.
Achievements
  • Coordinated two successful election campaigns inside the university.
  • Organized an introduction to Free Software for students.
Since 2007 Secretary and Projects coordinator of Association Nainwak, an association of free web games. We took part in the Paris video-games festival six times already. I am the webmaster and I lead our “Going mobile” project.

Computer Skills

I regularly use Office (OpenOffice.org; bases for LateX.) I have designed many xhtml/css websites and I have notions for php. I can work on GNU-Linux (Gnome Desktops or KDE), Windows and Mac OS.
